According to MLS data for the Simon Fraser University area, specifically UniverCity of Burnaby North, activity on the mountain is heating up! This past week saw 3 new listings which brings the totally inventory level up to 44 active listings. This includes 4 units for sale in the Origin building by Port Development. The average list price for the area is $427,618 or $464.91 per square foot. Great to see that Sellers are confident and are bringing their properties market.
I can personally attest to the activity. During the open house on Feb 12 I held at 406 9232 University in Novo II the extremely harsh weather was not a deterrent. We had 8 groups through for a total of 15 people. Overall a great turn out. The unit offers beautiful mountain top and city light views and is in impeccable condition.
The really positive news is that there were two registered sales for this past week! Congratulations to the folks at Origin, I believe these two last sales bring them to well over 60% sold. Great to see interest for the new developments is still strong. This should be positive feedback for Liberty Homes as they prepare to bring a new concrete hi-rise to market in the coming months.
