The Simon Fraser University area, specifically UniverCity of Burnaby North real estate market has now registered three sales 2012. Two units in Hamony at the Highlands have registered as sold during the past week.
There were a total of five new listings during the past week, bringing the total available inventory to 45 homes. All five of the new listings were in the resale market. The average list price is now $438,006 or $449.93 per sqft. The most expensive home on the market is a gorgeous penthouse unit located in Altaire priced at $688,800 and the least expensive unit is a 423sqft studio located in Novo I priced at $239,000. This remains to be the case since the beginning of the year.
Sales for 2012 now sit at three units. The average sale price is $351,993 or $392.68 per sqft. As previously noted two of the three sales were in the Harmony development and the third was in Serenity. Both developments are wood frame construction, Harmony being a low-rise and Serenity being the only town home complex in the UniverCity area.
